the reluctant bachelorette review

http://photo.goodreads.com/books/1343713469l/15776704.jpgWhen Taycee's best friend, Jessa, makes her the bachelorette for a charity reality show, she is less than pleased. By a cruel twist of fate, the man who broke her heart ten years earlier, Luke Carney, just happens to be one of the bachelors competing for her. Taycee knows she must protect her fragile heart, at all costs. But when her attempts to get him voted off the show backfire, she must face the feelings that have been safely hidden for so long.
Rachael Anderson delivers a story that is sure to make you root for Taycee as she attempts to navigate the often treacherous, and always hilarious, path to happily-ever-after.

M: I love, love, loved this book! The moment I picked it up I couldn't put it down until every word was devoured. The characters are well developed and multifaceted. They make you laugh, cry and sigh with them! A must read for all lovers of fun, clean romances, like me. :)

C: My only problem with the book was I couldn't stop reading it ;) It drew me in the instant I opened it. I don't know whether to classify it under romance or comedy because it has a great mixture of both. My favorite part about the book is that it is a good, clean modern romance. Yeah, it has the physical appearance attraction (that is part of life) but that wasn't what it was all about. Love was formed by the heart not the eyes. It is a true romance.

N: If I had to describe this book with one word. I would say this book was absolutely AMAZING! It had me hooked right off the bat. I felt what the characters felt, the joy, sadness, and love. The reluctant bachelorette is a very clean, very interesting book. I didn't find a single bad thing in the book. I would definitely recommend this book to all age groups. The characters were developed amazingly and I couldn't stop reading it! I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!

GUEST STAR! Our wonderful Mom of four sisters and a book:
My daughters warned me that once I started reading this book I would not be able to put it down. I thought they were kidding and started reading it when I had a LOT of work to get done. I couldn't read the words fast enough and fell head-long into the delightful plight of the farmers while feeling the need to support and cheer on the bachelorette. This book is clean, funny, sad, and exasperating. I found myself siding with each character and then wanting to shake them for their ridiculousness. I could understand the need to 'get even' or to 'make the other person pay'. Who does she end up with in the end? How does she handle it when several guys are interested in her at once? Does she really find her true love? Read this book to find these answers but make sure you have the time to read the whole book...you will not be able to put it down until the last word has been read...consider yourself duly warned.
