My sisters and
I look for good books and have come across many. We would like to share them
with others, so we have created Four Sisters and a Book.
One of the
books is The Frog Princess by E.D.
Baker. Although I recommend the author herself, this is the first book of the Tales of the Frog Princess. It is also
the book that inspired the Disney movie The
Princess and the Frog.
Princess Emeralda isn’t like you
would imagine a princess to be. She isn’t graceful and her laugh does not sound
like bells. Instead of liking a meadow, her favorite spot is the ‘magical’ swamp behind her castle.
Her adventures start when she meets
a claim-to-be enchanted prince who needs a kiss from a princess. Is he really a
prince? Will he get his kiss?
This book has a cute, lighthearted romance and a strong-minded, resourceful heroine. The content is appropriate for all ages.
Warning: aching ribs and sore smiling muscles may occur.

Which one do you prefer?
The Princess and the Frog for sure!
